Monday this week was a real nerve tester. Delivered my motorcycle to get the valves set and tire changed. Service said it would be about four hours so we though we would do our city shopping that day and wait for the motorcycle to be finished seeing it was at the shop at nine AM. We went shopping for four hours went back to the dealer he said the mechanic had to have lunch then go to an appointment so the motorcycle would be longer. So I left it there and drove the forty-five minuets home and pick the bike up the next day. On the way home message came on the cell phone that my time on the cell was going to expire at midnight. When I got home I went to use the landline to fix the cell problem, the landline was dead, the phone company was rerouting the line thus no phone. No problem I’ll use the cell to call Rogers to straighten out the problem. Now I am talking to Melanie the Rogers computer you know how it goes if you want this press 1 if you want that press 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 by the time you get to number 6 I’ve forgot what number 1 was so I listen again. Press the number I think is right and guess what it is not so back to the main menu and listen again. Pick another number yah this is right but still can’t talk to a real person. Seems like they give you the run around! Probably just me being paranoid eh! I get tired of talking to a computer put the cell down, it rings at five-thirty my motorcycle is ready. Good thing I didn’t wait…. Now I’m ticked off at the cell phone company. Decided to phone the landline company and talk to their computer, it tells me to call back later, because there is an overwhelming amount of calls. Then my daughter Kylee wants to give my cell company a try. She listens and is pushing buttons. Soon she is hollering at the cell phone, HELP HELP the same as I did, because there is one part you can’t push buttons it has to be voice activated and it will not activate it just keeps asking you to say help if you need help. Now I’m standing back laughing at her. She gives up. I’ve had enough I’m going to Kung Fu to rid my frustrations. Then she goes down the road to the neighbors where the phone is working, makes the call to the cell phone company on the landline, gets through and the twenty-four hour help line tells her she will have to call back between nine to five tomorrow. Well I did call back Tuesday. My credit card was updated in December, and I emailed Rogers about the update. They thanked me; January I’m cut off I call back, everything gets straightened out February I’m cut off call back they tell me everything is OK. March I’m cut off, call them, and fix it. Till last Monday when they cut me off. I finally find out what the problem is. It’s because my credit card was rejected three times the system did not except it. But they also used it six times! Now the system has permanently rejected my Credit card. Seems to me it was their fault I was rejected. Needless to say Monday was a bad day.
