Fishing

Went fishing today. Sad to see that fishing in Alberta lakes is depleting. People taking more than their limit, also taking fish that are smaller than regulation and of course the train wrecks that spill toxic chemicals into the lakes and rivers. A person really has to be careful on reading the regulations. Every lake has different rules about the size, type and quantity of fish that can be taken. At least there is a size limit on most fish. Hopefully the quantities will come back if everyone follows the regulations. It takes a Walleye eight years to become big enough to spawn. With growing an inch a year that is a lot of up hill battles for a small fish. When humans insist on destroying nature.
