Work

What do you do, have a job, career or a passion?

Job it is something we go to every day to make money to pay the bills, put food on the table keep us in shelter you know the basic necessities of life. You complain about it and it never seems to satisfy you. Some thing you do to just do the bare minimum to keep going, just to make it to the weekend. Keep buying those toys for instant gratification. The first thing you say in the morning is, another day of work.

Career that is something you do to climb the ladder of success to make a mark in life. May be a few people will get stepped on the way up. This is more of a personal thing, rather than something you do to help someone else. Sometimes family and friends are excluded to gain this self-satisfaction of having a career. You are building a career to make money and get that stamp of letters after your name. If asked what you do for a living the first words out of the mouth are I am. The first thing you say in the morning is how can I make more money and how can I make myself look better in society.

Then there is Passion. If we have passion there is no self centeredness it is all up in the morning and what can we do to improve peoples lives there is no oh I have to go to work. It is more just up and at it. You listen to your inner spirit, and this is generally just acting on impulse to do well. If you have a job or career and you do it with passion you will work tirelessly and ungodly hours and push your body to great lengths and always seem to have enough energy to keep going. Sometimes they do crash when things get to hectic but these are people generally bounce back quickly, because their passion is always running in the background.

We all know a lot of people with jobs. We know quite a few with a career’s. But those who work with pure passion, they are far and few between, they are people who stand out in a crowd not because they want to, just because they do. So instead of finding a job or a career find a passion and pursue that! There will be no better satisfaction in life than giving of you.

The News

Listening to the news today another earthquake in Japan the people there have lived with earthquakes all their lives but the one in 2011 with the tsunami must been nerve shattering. Every time there is another quake. The one today had a tsunami warning but it was lifted, nothing happened. Living in Alberta Canada, we can't imagine what it would be like. Living in earthquake areas like California, a person must get used to living around earthquakes. The thought is that nothing has happened for years so the probability of something major is small. So what does a person do you can't live in fear so you except things for what they are. People in warm areas of the world can't imagine living here in Alberta with our frigid temperatures in the winter, so it must be somewhat similar, we accept the temperatures they except the earthquakes. Today's thoughts of matter of my mind.

Routine

Having trouble getting back into the routine of pushups and crunches. After not doing them for a month and a half, funny how much muscle a person can loose in that short of time. Have been there before so it will just take a bit of time to get back up to speed. May not make the fifty thousand this year, but will be working on it.
