I am actually very surprised that my body has held up as well as it has with the abuse that I have given it over the last two weeks. I have placed about a fifty- forty pound blocks most of them two and three times, shoveled about four yards of sand and gravel. I was at Kung Fu on Friday my body was not feeling in very good, I dared not do anything to erratic for fear of putting something in my back out of place, my arms were feeling the pain of the last few days of continuous muscle strain. Saturday came around and with a good rest and a good soak in the hot tube. I actually didn't feel to bad.
What the amazing thing is that a year ago I would definitely have been down and out, my body is in far better physical shape now than it was back then. What I am contributing it to is the fact that because of the UBBT push ups and crunches have built my physical strength and core strength, that my recovery time is a lot shorter, it does not mean that I can be ridiculous about what I do. Just about got the block wall done.
